My New Schnibbles

Last month we were given the choice of choosing a new pattern or a vintage pattern to work on for this upcoming months parade.  I decided to choose a new pattern called Chicken Feed.  You can find this pattern here.  I have to say that I truly love this pattern and the fabric choice that I picked out.  So here is my version of Chicken Feed.

This quilt goes together really easy.  I used Tapestry by Fig Tree & Co. Her fabric is just so beautiful that I bought some of their new line and I have plans for it!!

On another note I have finished my final three blocks for the 2012 Fat Quarter Shop Designer Mystery Block of the Month.  All that is left to do is cut sashing strips and cornerstone and setting and corner triangles and put the top together.  Can't wait to see how this one looks when finished.  Stay tuned!!

The Schnibbles parade is March 1 and is hosted by Sherri and Sinta.  So if you have a chance hop on over to their blogs and have a look at all the vintage or new schnibbles!  Can't wait to see what's next!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

  3. Beautiful new Schnibbles! I like that pattern too, but I spared it to the future;o) Your photos are also gorgeous! I also tried to find a clean snowy spot on the yard to photograph my Schnibbles, but it was impossible. The remaining snow is dirty and the spots are all too small.

  4. I love your Chicken Feed quilt. That's certainly on my future list of quilts to make and you picked a great fabric line to make it out of. I don't think Joanna has designed an ugly fabric yet! The HSTs around the edge kind of look like chicken feet to me too. Great pictures as well!

  6. Judy, I LOVE your schnibbles and the fabrics you used. I'm a huge Fig Tree fan and hoard all different lines! I actually joined the Fig Tree club a couple of years back thru FQ Shop and would do it again if I had an income :) Recently retired and no pension till January = unhappy quilter LOL

I love your blog. You seem to have the same likes as me so it's fun reading!

Have you looked at the HOOK pattern? I'm a little scared it might be one that challenges me too much and I might end up setting it aside :( but we'll see.
